what’s this about?
“church” in america is broken. not the people, but the machine. it has become a corporation behind the closed doors, and out in the open it’s a well-produced showcase of human talents riddled with the unhealthy byproducts of self-worship. it’s the same old thing people have done for centuries, we’ve just packaged it differently. and it’s not worshiping God. oh, it’s helpful and enjoyable and maybe even enlightening. but it’s not about God. it’s about seven principles for “a better me,” or 10 steps to get myself out of the latest mess i’ve fallen into, or maybe even the “secret” to happiness and fulfillment and wealth. nice. but is that what we really need? self improvement? i’ve read a fair amount of the Bible, and it says we need a Savior. and it says we need to fall on our faces in authentic worship of and gratitude toward that Savior who has paid for our sins and rightly deserves our thanks and praise and devotion. i think i’d like to go to a church that does that. i’d like to be part of “the church” the Bible talks about. anybody feeling me?

I understand where you are coming from. Though, as a believer I know that where I attend, the Kingdom of God will be there. Yes, we have the mega church, the small church, the medium church, the church in the city and the one in the country. You have a savior, that is Jesus Christ, you just got to stop looking at the negative and ask God to give you a heart like His. God Bless you.
