why church sucks

… and it's not God's fault

worship whom?

i read in the Bible that we’re all created to worship God, but all the churches i know of don’t worship God. they worship some guy who gets up in front and talks for 40 minutes about how to make your life work better. or they worship the singer who has a song in rotation on christian radio. or they worship the cool, vibey atmosphere they call “relevant” because it looks like an overgrown coffee shop [but with not-as-good coffee]. yeah, relevant. but they’re not worshiping God! you know, God? the Almighty? the Creator of the universe! the all-powerful supreme being who THOUGHT the whole world into existence? ring a bell, anyone?

  2. more like frustrated with church in america. it’s not working. it’s not healthy. it’s not honoring God. it’s not worshiping God. i’m speaking up about it to find out if anyone else feels the same way. maybe it’s time for a new paradigm, one that actually does what the New Testament talks about.
