why church can really suck

… and it’s not God’s fault

i love God, but church? not-so-much

i love God, but church is another story. are you feeling me? i want something new, something different. but not just for the sake of new and different. i want something real. i want to be around people who are real, not plastic, fake-happy, faux-perfect. i want to know why we’re doing this thing we call “church.” or is the building “the church?” wait, i thought the people were “the church.” i’m confused! no wonder it’s not working. i don’t know what it is! if you do, let me know …

  1. Hey, this is in response to this post, as well as your “Worship Who?” post: my advice to you could be to check out an Eastern Orthodox church. Here you will experiance true worship, not some 45 minutes social lessons loosly based on Gospel. Check it out, let me know what you think!

  3. Hi! your not the only one who can’t fine a church there are many out there
    but your looking in the wrong place. The church is you and me, any one who has Jesus Christ in there heart, we are the church, Jesus did share the word with all who gathered to here, he was teaching us how to live. read the bible and beleave in him, he will lead you into a church he wants you to be in. worship and praise the lord, you will see were you need to be. this is the way I feel and you mite not agree, think about it. walking
    with Jesus is best for me.
